Miss Johnson's Mystery Reader!Miss Johnson's Mystery Reader!

Miss Amy Johnson had a mystery reader, her student’s mom, come in and read the story “The Way I Feel.” You can see in the photos, the students had a lot of fun, and her student was overjoyed that her mom came to see her at school! You can also see that they are discussing emotions, using happy, sad, mad, and silly faces. This goes hand in hand with the Zones of Regulation we practice in Pre-K. Our goal is to be in the “green zone” that indicates happy, calm, and ready to learn! Other zones include the “red zone” or feeling mad, the “blue zone” or feeling sad, and the “yellow zone” – feeling to silly or excited to be calm and learn. What a great way to involve families in daily learning!
